Worth Sharing ("we", "us") is an app for keeping and sharing recommendations with people you trust. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we store a basic account identifier and a display name so your recommendations can be attributed to you.
Content you create. The recommendations you add (titles, notes, categories, links, and any photos you attach) and the items you save or "heart."
Contacts (only when you choose). If you grant access, the app reads your device Contacts to help you address a recommendation to someone. Contact details stay on your device and are used only to help you share — we do not upload your address book to build a social graph.
Photos & camera (only when you choose). If you attach a photo to a recommendation, we access the photo you select or the camera to capture one.

How we use it

To store your recommendations and show them back to you across your devices.
To deliver a recommendation to a person when you share it with them via a link.
To operate, secure, and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Recommendations are private by default. A recommendation becomes visible to someone else only when you share a link to it. People who open a link you sent can view that specific recommendation.

Where your data lives

App data is stored using our hosting provider (Supabase). Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on their secured infrastructure.

Retention

We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete individual recommendations at any time, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your choices

Contacts, Photos, and Camera permissions are optional and can be changed anytime in iOS Settings.
You can delete recommendations within the app.
You can request account and data deletion by emailing us.

Children

Worth Sharing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above and, for significant changes, note it in the app.
